See what people are saying about...

"Gordon's Way: A Day Like 1000 Years" is 'out of this world' (no pun intended).  It was just as exciting as the first book and even more so.

Stephen J Granger leads us through the story in a way that keeps him grabbing for the next page but not enough to give away the plot .

It was wonderful how he brought in parts of the first book without with out being pushy about it.

And for those who did not read the first book it did not give you to much information as to ruin the first book for the reader when they read it.

I thought it was very well written and I loved it from cover to cover."

Stephen, you're getting better with every book.  I loved the cliff hangers and of course the easy read.

Can't wait to see where Gordon's next adventure takes him.  Lots of adventure and intrigue.  Loved the local atmosphere.

"Stephen J Granger's second book is BETTER than the first and the first book was very good!  Way to go, Steve!"

-  James D.

"Book two was just as action packed as book one.

It will have you on the edge of your seat at times, and it will bring a tear to your eye at times.

It will have you thinking who can he and can't trust as a friend.

But you will just have to read book two to find out for your self to see what happens to Gordon Boswood."

See what people are saying about...

From the moment I started "Entertaining Strangers" I didn't want to put it down.  The ending was a surprise and a good one.

Now I can hardly wait to pick up "A Day Like 1,000 Years".

-  Ruth Y.

"I finished it in two sittings. In my way of thinking it was great reading!"

-  Herbert G.

At first, I was expecting the usual predictable tale. Instead, I was surprised at the turns the story took as we learned more.

It doesn't have so many twists that you aren't sure what's going on anymore, either.

The book explains enough, and advances the plot without having to hold your hand or insult your intelligence.

There remains some mystery, and a good dose of conclusion for the first in what should be a good series.
While rooted in religion, it stays out of the "Touched by an Angel" or "Highway to Heaven" simple plots and unbelievable characters.

The characters of Gordon's Way are solid, with their feet on the ground, and remind you of yourself or someone you know closely.

A good read, with some action to go with the spiritual awakening and resulting commencement of a journey.

"Wow! I haven't had a book that I wasn't able to put down since The Left Behind series.

I couldn't wait to find out what was going to happen in the next chapters and the closer I got to the end, the more I had to read it.

I loved the fact that it didn't go to the obvious but took turns away from what I was expecting. Looking forward to more of your work."

- Judi K.

"A real "Page-Turner"

- Linda D.

"I couldn't wait to find out what was going to happen next.

I especially liked the woman 'Talitha'.  What a surprising twist that was!"

- Regina H.

"This book keeps you on the edge of your seat, all the while reeling you in for more.

I must admit, ...I normally don't "like" fiction, but, THIS is an exception to the rule!!"

- Mary C.

"I Loved the book! I couldn't put it down.. read it almost non-stop till I was done.

Please start writing the next in the series right now. can't wait to read it... I am SO impressed!"

- Rita P.

"It's the most thrilling book I've ever read. I just couldn't put it down. It felt as if I were a part of Gordon...

feeling my heart pound with every suspenseful moment, feeling his emotions running rampant. I actually felt as if I were in his shoes!"

- Jen G.

"Entertaining Strangers is a well-written, action-packed story. I planned to read just a chapter or two every night at bedtime.

However, once I started, I couldn't stop. I ended up reading well into the night and finished it in two sessions.

It was riveting! I can't wait until the next in the series!"
